Why a Triathlon Training Log?
All athletes, specially that play triathlon, running, swimming or cycling,
should maintain a daily training log because it helps them understand more about
themselves as athletes. By spending just a few minutes per day on your triathlon
training log, you will certainly progress greatly in your workouts, know what
adjustments you need to make from time to time, better understand your body’s
fatigue signals to know how far you can push it, know when training is
excessive, compare results at any time, and analyze test results.
The Triathlon Training log should include details about each day’s workout and
personal health information. For instance, it will register distance, time,
intensity, heart rate, weight, stress level, start time and end time, in
addition to other details.

Triathlon Training Charts
You can create a triathlon, running, swimming or cycling training chart (workout
plan for a specific period), which allows for an easier and more integrated
relationship between athletes and their workouts, or even between athletes and
their coaches. DailyTrain.com its a Triathlon Training Log that allows coaches
to create triathlon or other sports training charts and select specific athletes
to access their charts.
Using the training chart wizard, you can create a triathlon training chart or
any sport training chart with however many days you wish, adding one or more
types of workout to each day. All you need to do is name your training chart,
assign a period for its use and add workouts for each of the days as needed.

When we choose to go lean by lowering our fat intake, we reduce our calories significantly while actually allowing us to eat a bit more food! This does lead to weight loss over time (this is a nice reward!). We also get a bonus, improved health from less dietary fat and even if we don't lose during this season well, we can
prevent a gain Now I'm not suggesting we lose all the fat in our diet since some dietary fat is necessary (remember our omega' 3's?) for our health, for our pleasure and for the good flavor it gives our food. But we can "Go Lean"

We are all creatures of routine and our diets are no exception. Time-strapped athletes tend to gravitate towards the same foods and supplements that allow them to fuel their bodies quickly and effectively. But a proper training plan requires changes in training intensities and durations throughout the day, week, and season. This means variance correspondingly in energy expenditure daily, weekly, and seasonally. Nutrition periodization is a hot topic right now. The essence of this plan is to match your diet to the specific requirements of the training phase you are in on the macro level.

Stretching is a vital component to an ironman, triathlon, exercise program and it is a component of fitness. Research reports that regular stretching may be more effective in preventing injuries than occasional stretching and a review of 7 out of 9 studies indicates that regular stretching improves sports performance.
